 Good App For Lab Entertainment

The app that I will be discussing is the Samsung Gaming Hub App. I have several mobile games that I play and this app is perfect for that! This app gathered my games and put them inside a single place so I do not have games cluttering the home pages of my phone. It is easy to navigate and has little to no issues with overloading or crashing. The app has a straightforward and clean design that makes it appealing to the user. As the user scrolls down the app, there are many suggested games provided by the app. With the way it is designed, it increases the app’s usability. It is not a difficult app for the user to navigate and find what he/she is looking for. There are categories for the game that makes it easy for the user to find the type of game he/she likes to play.

Features of this app include:

  1. It comes with performance optimization that optimizes the device's performance for gaming, creating a smoother experience by making it possible to adjust settings for each game, not just one setting for all games.
  2. It allows you to play "instant plays." Instant plays let you play games without the need to download them. This is a great feature for people who would like to demo games just to see how they work.
  3. It has a Game Tools option, which allows the user to record gameplay, take screenshots, and manage notifications without leaving the game. This is very handy for gamers with streaming channels that show gameplay.
  4. It has a focus mode setting that helps users concentrate on gaming by minimizing distractions, blocking calls and notifications during gameplay.
  5. It has a game discovery mode that may offer recommendations and discovery features based on the user's preference. This helps users discover new games that they may like.

Even though it has all of these features, the functionality of the app is very good. The app hardly ever crashes from overloading. It does not slow down the processes of the phone and there are not many glitches in the app.

There are a few things that I would suggest for improvement. First, I would suggest upgrading how the list of downloaded games on the phone operates. The user should be able to look at the list of downloaded games and it shows the last time the game was played. Another suggestion would be to add a function where you could play the game and be able to use another app at the same time. This would be useful if a person is watching a tutorial and instead of having to keep switching between the two windows, they could be side by side. A final suggestion would be to have a reminder of games that have not been played and need to be played on a daily basis. Basically, the user will have the ability to create a list of their downloaded games that they play on a daily basis and if a game was not played, a reminder will pop up saying there are games that have not been played. I believe these additions would make gameplay even more fun on this app.
