About Me

Hello! My name is Nicholas Davis, and I currently work at a Quest Diagnostics lab in Memphis, TN. I have been working in a lab for years and throughout the day in the lab, I am always looking for something new to learn and something to make me laugh. That is what made me want to create this blog so I can reach people who are looking for the same thing in their work setting. I am also working on my Bachelor's Degree for Computer Science and this blog is a great way for me to work on my information technology skills! I am a huge fan of anime, and right now, I am watching Bleach: TYBW, Demon Slayer, MHA, Black Clover, Haikyuu, and many more. My favorite anime is Pokemon. I might include some anime based posts here relating to the laboratory. My aspirations are to learn more about the technology that I will use in my professional career, especially data analysis, software development and computer hardware and applications, in order to to grow in my current role and become a Project Manager. With this blog, I hope to learn more about different topics in information technology that will allow me to continue learning about and staying updated on the latest technological advancements.

I usually do not create a “diary entry” of my daily life routines and events. This assignment has made me understand how dedicated a person has to be to document their lives on a daily basis. I have used  word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, and  database applications previously and I consider myself proficient in the use of them. I imagine that a person does not use all of these applications, but it was interesting to use all of these for one day’s entry.
